English proficiency entails accuracy and fluency. This course's main aim is to develop fluent writing, and the secondary aim is to develop reading fluency. This will be done with an integrated approach, students reading books regularly and writing a short response to the books as well as other short pieces of writing. As students become more fluent and confident, it is expected that they will naturally start to pay more attention to accuracy issues.
Two important points:
1. You need to write English regularly.
2. You need to make a habit of reading easy English books.
You don't need any textbooks, but you do need a notebook and pen.
Assessment will be by reading quantity and the overall quantity and quality of your weblog.
